SearchChamp Help Center

Guides and reference for getting results with SearchChamp — audit, research, create, publish, and track your AI visibility.

Welcome to the SearchChamp Help Center. This is where you learn how to get real results with SearchChamp — from connecting your first site to publishing content that ranks and tracking how AI assistants talk about your brand.

The help center is organized around how you actually work, not a list of every button:

  • Get Started — set up your workspace, connect and verify your site, and understand plans and credits.
  • Core Workflows — goal-first guides that walk you end-to-end: audit your site and fix what matters first, research keywords and pick targets, create and publish content that ranks, track your AI visibility, and monitor your backlinks.
  • Feature Reference — a page per feature when you want to know exactly what a screen does.
  • Integrations — connect Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, your CMS, and your AI apps.
  • What's New — the latest changes to SearchChamp.

New here? Start with Get Started, then follow a Core Workflow for the goal you care about most.

Find help by topic

Jumped here from an empty state or a Learn more link inside the app? Each topic below deep-links to the exact spot for the thing you were doing. Every entry also points to a full step-by-step article.

Getting started with your dashboard

Your dashboard fills in as your site connects data. Add and verify a site, connect Search Console and Analytics, and the panels light up. Full walkthrough: What SearchChamp does and the Dashboard reference.

The activity feed

The activity feed is a running log of what's happened across your workspace — audits run, drafts created, rankings that moved, and alerts. It stays empty until your first actions and integrations produce events. See the Dashboard reference.

Keywords

Run your first keyword research

Build a keyword set, cluster it, and shortlist your targets. Start here: Research keywords and pick targets.

Lenses

Lenses switch the Keywords table between different views of the same set — for example intent, difficulty, or opportunity — so you can sort and filter by what matters for the decision you're making. See the Keywords reference.

Markets

A market is a country-and-language target for your research. Add a market to see volumes and difficulty for that locale, and compare the same keyword across markets. See the Keywords reference.

Clusters

Clusters group related keywords so you target a topic with one page instead of scattering intent across many. Research a set and SearchChamp clusters it automatically. See the Keywords reference.

Rank tracker

SERP volatility

SERP volatility tells you how much the search results are moving for your tracked terms, so you can tell a real ranking change from routine turbulence. Full details: SERP volatility.

Local grid setup

Local grid tracks how your rankings change across a map of points around a location — the way a local searcher sees them. This is coming soon and not yet enabled. See Local grid rank tracking for what it will do and how to get notified.

Content

Generate your first draft

Go from a target keyword to a scored, on-brand draft you can edit and publish. Start here: Create and publish content that ranks.

Content autopilot

Autopilot turns approved opportunities into scheduled drafts so your content calendar keeps moving with less hands-on work. Full guide: Plan and schedule content with autopilot.

Set up your content schedule

A content schedule decides when drafts are generated and queued for review. Set a cadence and let SearchChamp fill the calendar. See Plan and schedule content with autopilot.

AI Visibility

Run an AI visibility scan

A scan checks how AI assistants answer for your tracked prompts and updates your Share of Voice, appearance rate, and gaps. Start here: Track your AI visibility.

Track prompts

Track the questions your buyers actually ask an AI assistant. Each tracked prompt is checked across engines on a schedule. See Track your AI visibility.

Citation sources

See which pages and domains AI assistants cite when they answer for your prompts. Correlating citations with your rankings is coming soon. Full details: Citation sources.

Crawler tracking

Confirm that AI crawlers can actually reach your content, and see which ones visit and how often. Setup and snippets: Track AI crawlers.

Set up alerts

Get notified when your AI visibility moves — a new gap opens, a competitor overtakes you, or a prompt drops. See the AI Visibility reference.

Add personas

Personas let you check how AI assistants answer for different kinds of buyer, so you see visibility the way each audience does. Full guide: Add personas.

Add a competitor

Share of Voice needs at least one competitor to compare against. Add one to see how you stack up in AI answers. See Analyze your competitors.

Brand fact sheet

The fact sheet is where you record the true facts about your brand — what you do, who you serve, your claims — so you can spot when an AI assistant gets them wrong. Full guide: Brand integrity fact sheet.

Audit

Run your first audit

A site audit crawls your pages and scores your technical and on-page health, then lists issues by severity so you fix what matters first. Start here: Audit your site and fix what matters first.

See the links pointing at your site, add ones you know about, and watch your profile grow or shrink. Full guide: Grow and protect your backlinks.

Add a competitor to compare link profiles and find the domains linking to them but not you. See Grow and protect your backlinks.

Find places that mention your brand without linking to you — the easiest links to earn. See Grow and protect your backlinks.

Surface sites worth pitching for a link, ranked by relevance and authority. See Grow and protect your backlinks.

Spot links you've earned that are now at risk of being lost, so you can act before they disappear. See Grow and protect your backlinks.

Turn prospects into a pitch list and manage your outreach from one place. See Grow and protect your backlinks.
