Add personas

Check how AI assistants answer for different kinds of buyer, so you see your visibility the way each audience actually does.

A "best CRM for small teams" question and a "enterprise CRM with SSO" question can get very different AI answers — and your brand might show up in one but not the other. Personas let you frame your tracked prompts from the point of view of a specific kind of buyer, so you see your AI visibility the way each audience does, not just in the abstract.

What you'll need

Set up a persona

Open Personas

In AI Visibility, open the Personas view.

Describe the buyer

Add a persona that captures a real segment you sell to — for example their role, company size, priorities, and the way they'd phrase a question. The more concrete the description, the more the checks reflect how that buyer really asks.

Compare visibility across personas

With more than one persona, compare where you appear for each. A gap for one persona but not another tells you exactly which audience isn't seeing you in AI answers — and points at the content to write next.

Plan availability

Personas are part of AI Visibility on paid plans. Checking prompts across personas draws on your plan's AI Visibility allowance, so add the personas that map to your real segments rather than every possible variation.

FAQs

How is a persona different from a prompt? A prompt is a specific question. A persona is the buyer asking it — the same prompt can be evaluated from different persona viewpoints to see who you're visible to.

How many personas should I add? Start with the two or three segments you most want to win. You can add more as you learn where your gaps are.

Do personas cost extra? Checking across personas uses your AI Visibility allowance. See Plans & credits.
