Markets (target market & localization)

Track AI Visibility and rankings for the market your buyers are actually in — with an honest disclosure of what's approximate versus measured.

Search results and AI answers differ by country and language — "best CRM" doesn't return the same thing in the US as it does in Germany. Markets lets you set the country and language your buyers are actually in, so what you track reflects the market you sell to, not a US default.

What's live today

  • Set your site's target market — country and language, chosen during onboarding or updated any time from the Keywords market selector.
  • AI Visibility probing honors it — your tracked prompts are probed against your chosen market across every DataForSEO-backed engine (Google AI Overviews, Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google's other AI surfaces).
  • Honest fallback when a market can't be resolved — if your chosen market/language combination isn't resolvable for a probe, SearchChamp falls back to US/English rather than silently failing, and marks that result as a fallback rather than presenting it as a genuine local measurement.
  • Every result discloses the market it was measured in — so you can always tell whether an answer reflects your chosen market or the fallback.
  • Per-prompt conditioning language — set the language a prompt is asked in, independent of your site's default market.
  • Multi-market tracking — track more than one market at once, on Business plan and above.

Coming soon

Approximate market conditioning for Claude and Perplexity (engines whose APIs don't accept an explicit market/location parameter the way the DataForSEO-backed engines do) is not yet enabled. When it ships, these engines will be prompted with market context rather than measured directly — and results will say so explicitly, the same way the fallback case does today. Per-prompt country selection at creation time is also not yet available; country is currently resolved from your site's target market.

Where to find it

Site settings (initial target market, set during onboarding) and the market selector on the Keywords surface (change it any time). Per-prompt language is set when you add or edit a tracked prompt in AI Visibility.

FAQs

If my market can't be measured directly, do I get no data? No — you get a US/English fallback result, clearly labeled as a fallback rather than shown as if it were a genuine measurement in your market.

Does multi-market tracking cost more? It requires Business plan or above; the server enforces this — a lower plan sees an explanation rather than the feature silently failing.

Can I set a different country per prompt right now? Not yet — country currently comes from your site's target market. Per-prompt country is planned.
