Find prospects (topic-based link prospecting)

Turn a topic into a ranked list of realistic link-building outreach targets, inside Backlinks. Coming soon.

Coming soon

Find prospects is not yet available — the tab isn't visible in Backlinks yet, on any plan. This page explains what it will do so you can plan for it; there's nothing to set up or run today. When it's enabled, this article will be updated with the full walkthrough.

Finding sites to pitch for a backlink usually means a lot of manual searching — trying query after query, opening dozens of tabs, and guessing which pages are actually worth a pitch. Find prospects will do that expansion and filtering for you: type a topic, and it turns that into a ranked, de-duplicated table of realistic outreach targets.

What it will do

  • Expand a topic into search queries — type something like "sustainable packaging" and it runs the guest-posting-footprint queries that would otherwise take you an afternoon to think through and run by hand.
  • Classify and score every result — each candidate site gets a page-type chip (guest post, contributor guidelines, accepting posts, or a "junk"/social/forum bucket you can reveal on demand), an authority score, and a topical-relevance score, so you can tell a real opportunity from noise at a glance.
  • Surface contact info and evidence — for the prospects worth pursuing, it will show a contact email or contact-form URL, plus an evidence popover with the SERP snippet and classification reasoning that justified keeping the result.
  • Hand off straight to outreach — select prospects and add them to your existing outreach pipeline in one step, with the topic context carried into pitch drafting and duplicates against domains that already link to you automatically excluded.

Who it's for

Anyone doing manual link-building research today — instead of running searches and triaging results by hand, you'll describe the topic once and get a scored, de-duplicated starting list.

How to get notified

Find prospects will roll out inside the existing Backlinks feature. To be told when it's live, watch the What's New page.

FAQs

Can I use this today? No — it isn't enabled yet. This page is here so the concept is documented and you know it's coming.

Will it cost anything extra? Pricing and quota details will be shown in the app before it launches — this page will be updated with the specifics then.

What can I use in the meantime? The existing Backlinks Competitors tab surfaces link-gap targets today, and manual backlink entry is always available from My Links.
